Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is worth it for one specific type of guest: families or adults who care deeply about meeting rare Disney villain characters, seeing an exclusive parade and fireworks show, and experiencing Magic Kingdom with significantly lower crowds than a standard day visit.
If your priority is simply riding rides, a regular park day with a good rope drop plan delivers more ride time at lower cost. The party is about the atmosphere and the exclusives — not ride efficiency.
What is Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party?
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party (MNSSHP) is a separately ticketed, after-hours event held at Magic Kingdom on select nights from August 7 through October 31, 2026. It runs from 7 PM to midnight, but ticket holders can enter the park as early as 4 PM.

What's included with the ticket
Mickey's Boo-to-You Halloween Parade travels down Main Street twice per night, featuring the Headless Horseman, Disney villains, Halloween-themed floats, and classic characters in Halloween costumes.
Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular — a stage show at Cinderella Castle featuring the Sanderson Sisters alongside other Disney villains.
Disney's Not-So-Spooky Spectacular — the party's dedicated fireworks show with Halloween-themed music and imagery.
Trick-or-treat stations — scattered throughout the park, staffed by cast members handing out unlimited free candy throughout the night.
Character meet-and-greets with rare characters — Jack Skellington and Sally, Disney villains in Halloween costumes, Mickey and Minnie in special Halloween outfits.
Lower-than-normal ride wait times — the party's capped attendance means ride waits are dramatically lower than a standard Magic Kingdom day.

Ticket prices and when to buy
2026 tickets range from $119 to $229 per person (plus tax) depending on the date. August dates are least expensive; late October dates command the highest prices. October 31, 2026 is already sold out. Every single party night sold out in 2023, 2024, and 2025. Buy tickets as soon as possi
Which night should you go?
