Every guide re-verified in periodic full audits
Who writes and publishes these guides
The guides are written and edited by Beau Coffron, founder of Theme Park Co-Pilot, and published by Lunchbox Dad, LLC. They draw on his years of planning Disney and other theme park trips — the rope drops that worked, the ones that didn’t, and the wait-time patterns you only learn by standing in the parks. Research and drafting are done with AI assistance; Beau reviews, corrects, and approves every guide before it is published, and the same standard is applied again whenever a guide is updated. No guide goes live — or stays live — on the strength of a model’s memory. Every checkable claim has to be checked.
What we check against
- Disney’s official sources first — disneyworld.com, disneyland.com, the My Disney Experience and Disneyland apps, and official Disney Parks announcements.
- Established Disney reporting for changes Disney hasn’t posted yet (price increases, policy shifts, reopening details) — always cross-checked against at least one additional independent source before we rely on it.
- The parks themselves — posted signage, height requirements, and operating patterns observed in person.
If a fact can’t be verified against a current source, it doesn’t go in the guide — or it comes out.
How verification works
Every guide is held to the same standard before it is published, and the standard is re-applied across the whole library in periodic full audits:
- Read the whole guide — not just the article textHeadlines, photo captions, FAQ sections, and search descriptions are audited too. Errors hide in the parts nobody re-reads.
- Check every claim against a current sourcePrices, dates, height requirements, booking windows, eligibility rules — each one is confirmed against a source that is current at the time of the check, not as of when the guide was written.
- Fix, then re-read the live pageEvery correction is verified on the published page after it saves. A fix that isn’t confirmed live doesn’t count as fixed.
- Sweep for the same error everywhere elseWhen one guide is wrong about a shared fact, we search every guide for the same claim before the audit closes.
Updates and corrections
When Disney changes something a guide depends on — an annual pass price increase, a Lightning Lane rule change, a party calendar dropping — the affected guides are updated and re-verified, and each guide carries its publication and revision dates. Our most recent full audit covered every published guide and its FAQ section in October 2026; it corrected, among other things, annual pass pricing after Disney’s October 6, 2026 increase and several booking-window and app references.
